What is the best use case for a pendant light?

The pendant light is best used as an accent light. The most common place we see pendant lights used is overtop of a kitchen island. Pendant lights can also be used beside your bed as a hanging lamp, in your bathroom as an accent, or even overtop of art to illuminate it.

What rooms should I install a pendant light in?

The most common room to install pendant light in would be the over the kitchen island. Some of the other common areas that pendant lights could be installed would include overtop of you stairs, in your foyer, in your great room, in your bedroom, or even overtop of your bath tub.

What height above my kitchen island should my pendant light be?

Pendant lights should be between 36" and 30" above your kitchen island on a 8' ceiling. Increase this by 3" for each foot higher your ceiling is. ie. on a 10' ceiling the pendant light should be mounted at between 42" and 36" above your kitchen island.
