What rooms should I install a chandelier in?

The most common room to install chandelier in would be the dining room. Some of the other common areas that chandeliers could be installed would include overtop of you stairs, in your foyer, in your great room, in your bedroom, or even overtop of your bath tub.

What height above my dining room table should my chandelier be?

Chandeliers should be between 36" and 30" above your dining room table on a 8' ceiling. Increase this by 3" for each foot higher your ceiling is. ie. on a 10' ceiling the chandelier should be mounted at between 42" and 36" above your dining room table.
